This is the first lamp I’m thinking of developing into a series.. Something loosely based of those bizarre, esoteric votive / revered statues of saints,or in this case, Hindu gods. Unlike previous reports of Ganesh statues that have been known to drink milk when given spoonfuls, this one does not – at least not yet. Maybe when it gets re-incarnated as ‘version 2.0′ As a side note: This one was shot on my ‘old’ camera -the one I originally used in the beginning of the lamp making. I’d planned on ‘retiring’ the camera after this last video, and just before I could finish shooting the lamp completed, the camera dropped and it wouldn’t shoot footage anymore. So, I finished up on my HC-96 and added grain in After Effects to try to match the ‘look’.
