My question speaks for itself. I am not Irish, but I want to get a claddagh tattoo. Would it be weird to get it even though I am no part Irish?

The claddagh is basically the scared heart of Jesus. If you want it get it.
no, who cares? people who are NOT chinese get symbols tattoed on themselves up the wazoo. if they can wear someone else’s language, no one cares if you put the claddaugh on.
It hasn’t stopped way too many people getting Chinese characters and not being Chinese.
If you want to be different forget the tattoo.
Maybe you’re Irish at heart? Go for it! It’s not a clan symbol, like a tartan or something.
